• User Preferences & Settings: The selected color theme (e.g., Black, Gray, Dracula, Graphite Blue) and local user settings.
• Authentication Data: Temporary session identifiers/tokens (Firebase ID tokens) used solely for account authentication and verifying valid license access.
• User Input for Translation: Text typed by the user into input fields when explicitly requesting translation (e.g., Russian to English conversion via the translate button).
• User Activity & Webpage Context: Webpage context on thecupid.me (domain matching) to dynamically inject theme stylesheets and helper interfaces, along with quantitative shift statistics (message sent counters, template usage).
• No Sensitive Personal Data Collected: We DO NOT collect, log, read, or intercept private chat conversations, passwords, financial details, or personal contact details.

2. Data Processing and Use (Обработка и использование)

All data collected or handled by the Extension is processed exclusively for the following limited purposes:

• Applying user-selected visual themes and UI elements to thecupid.me.
• Translating user-entered text (Russian to English) upon user interaction with the translate button.
• Verifying active license status and authenticating user shifts.
• Managing active browser tabs via the tabs permission to coordinate theme state across open windows.
• We DO NOT use collected data for advertising, marketing profiling, data mining, or commercial resale.

3. Data Storage and Security (Хранение и безопасность)

• Local Browser Storage: User preferences, theme settings, and session state are saved locally on the user's device using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API.
• Server Storage & Transit: Authentication and shift analytics requests are transmitted securely over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections to cloud database servers (Firebase Firestore). Translation requests are sent statelessly over encrypted HTTPS without permanent server storage.
• Data Retention: Stored settings are retained only for the duration of the active subscription/license and are permanently deleted upon user or agency request.

4. Data Transfer and Sharing with Third Parties (Передача данных третьим лицам)

To provide its core functionality, the Extension safely transmits data over encrypted HTTPS channels to the following data recipients:

• Google LLC (USA): Cloud infrastructure provider for Firebase Authentication, database storage (Firebase Firestore / Firebase Hosting), and translation processing services.
• Yandex N.V. / Translation Service API Providers: Machine translation service endpoints used strictly for performing requested text translations (RU -> EN).
• Help-Chat Development Team: Operator licensing and reporting dashboard service (https://cupid-helper.firebaseapp.com) for checking subscription validity and quantitative stats.

Strict Prohibition of Data Sale: We strictly guarantee that user data is NEVER sold, rented, leased, or transferred to third-party data brokers, ad networks, or unauthorized entities.

5. Permissions Disclosure (Раскрытие разрешений)

• storage: Required to store your selected theme (Black, Dracula, Gray, etc.) and settings locally in your browser.
• tabs: Required to coordinate theme state and detect active session windows on thecupid.me.
• host_permissions (https://thecupid.me/*): Required to inject custom theme CSS files into thecupid.me pages.
